DataMate App Development ("we", "our", or "us") operates the SipStedy mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. By using SipStedy, you agree to the collection and use of information described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We use third-party SDKs that may automatically collect certain information for analytics, performance, and advertising purposes.
We analyze aggregated analytics and crash reports to improve features, fix bugs, and optimize performance. Analytics data is collected in aggregated and anonymized form where possible to prevent identification of individual users.
Ads help support a free version of the App. We use Google AdMob for advertising. We do not allow advertisers to access or collect your hydration or health-related data. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings or opt for the ad-free version if available.
All water intake data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted local database. No water intake data is transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly export it. SipStedy operates without user accounts — all tracking and hydration data remain on your device unless you choose to export or sync.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including industry-standard AES encryption for local data storage and secure communication protocols (TLS) for any external transfers. Regular security updates and limited access controls are maintained where applicable.
Water intake records are retained locally until you delete them. You can clear all data at any time via Settings. Analytics data retention follows Google's policies (typically 14 months). Crash logs are automatically deleted after 90 days.
We integrate the following third-party services. These providers process some data under their own privacy policies — please review them before enabling related features.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
We share data with third-party providers only as necessary for analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and weather data. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information. Where possible we share aggregated or anonymized data rather than personal data.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property, or to prevent fraud and illegal activities.
Enable/disable weather adjustments at any time. Location is used only when the weather feature is active. You may revoke location permissions in your device settings.
Enable/disable reminders in Settings and configure frequency and schedule. Notifications are processed locally on-device.
The App is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us at datamateappdev@gmail.com.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own (for example, third-party providers' servers). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.

POPIA grants rights including Access, Correction, Object, Withdraw Consent, Portability, and Complaint. We process data lawfully based on consent, legitimate interest, or legal obligation. We will not send unsolicited marketing communications unless you opt in. Opt-out mechanisms are provided in marketing messages, and you may object at any time via Settings or by contacting us.
We may update this policy. We will post the new policy in the App, update the "Last Updated" date, and send an in-app notification for material changes. Please review periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

By using SipStedy you consent to the collection and use of information as described. You may withdraw consent by disabling features in Settings, adjusting device privacy settings, or uninstalling the App.
What we collect: water intake data (stored locally), usage statistics (anonymized), device information, optional location for weather.
What we DON'T do: sell your data, share water intake data with third parties, require account creation, or track you outside the app.
Your Control: all main data is stored locally on your device, you may delete it anytime, disable tracking features, or export your data as CSV.
